Ujung minggu tu tadi kami sebilik ke Begumbang, Ulu Layar, ngambi indu ke petunggal aku. Nyadi pengawa kami enda ta tentu rami amat laban bala agi bedau nyamai ati udah ke ditinggal ke niang. Asai ke bisi tudah tuai enggau kami tang maia pansut ari moto nadai ga meda ia. Lain asai ati laban ia sigi jarang enda enggaul enti bisi pengawa baka tu laban ia ti nyadi tuai kami sebilik.
Udah datai... sejam setengah ari Serikai
Datai din kami lalu ditiki tang nadai bepalu ke tawak... semina betabi jari enggau sida tu serumah. Udah nya kami dibai ngagai bilik sida ke empu pengawa. Ngirup kupi...
Udah ngirup ba bilik, kami dibai pansut ke ruai. Ngirup baru... bisi siti sungkui tepung ubi (anak panah)... liat baka selipar tang nyamai asai ia.
Udah makai lemai, bala tuai-tuai berandau ke adat. Aku bisi ninga tang enda nemu kati ka nusui ditu. Enggai ke salah... danu tuai rumah aku legi. Udah abis pengawa berandau, nya baru pengantin dibai bejalai ngelingi ruai... sebarang aja munyi tawak dipalu...lapa enda ngasuh aku neh.
Aki sepiak apai pengantin lelaki ngadu ke adat melah pinang.
Makai salau... aku tinduk maia tu. Madi aku ngambi gambar...
Menyadi pengantin lelaki betanda enggau indu dara rumah nya... engka ka mai kami ngambi indu kia baru kini... (SPM abis ke dulu wai....)
Sebedau pulai sempat ngambi gambar getah orang ti dijembui ba luar... Peda kita pemanjai getah nya... begau bala meda getah tu kemari maia baru datai. Eenggi kami semenua paling panjai pen 2 meter kini...
Pulai ke rumah aku driba moto indai tuai laban apai tuai udah kelalu buntau... Semalam-malam bala betanda enggau lagu Kerimpak Kaca Lauya, Menantu Kaya Peturun Raja. Enda nemu berapa kali lagu nya dipasang. Taja pen bedau tentu ka rami endar tang laban enggai enda bebasa ke sida serumah, angkat ga tudah aku enti ditarit orang betanda. Pajak ke dia meh... gasak aja ngari ke ibu aku (indai pengantin lelaki). Ukai kala aku tu enggau orang betanda baka nya. Nya kebuah aku ka takut-takut ke rumah panjai orang enti maia bisi rami kelimpah ari rumah bala kami dirik sebilik. Ke satu, takut diberi orang ngirup lalu ke dua, takut ditarit orang betanda... Nasib ga malam tadi bala sida petunggal aku ke bukai maiuh nulung aku... sida nyadi 'bodyguard' laban nemu aku sigi enda teleba pengawa ke baka nya.
Aku geli ati meda Bibi ditarit orang betanda... aku irau ke ia malu orang nya laban ia tu sigi ka ganas-ganas mimit. Kala sekali seduai ia Nyun ditarit orang betanda suba... siku malu, siku numbuk... bedarah idung apai tuai nya... lapa deh ko Bibi.... ba anang narit orang. Bah... kita ke bujang, bejimat ke narit indu dara kami ari Ulu Serikai enti bisi rami.... Enggai enda madah dulu.
Nya aja ke sekali tu... mupuk aku.
